WILSON--Sara Yates Weatherford, 94, died Saturday, May 21, 2011.
Final rites will be at 11 a.m. Friday, May 27, 2011 at Piney Forest Baptist Church, Hwy 76, west of Chadbourn, with burial in the church cemetery beside her husband, Herbert W. Weatherford, who preceded her in death in 1991. Wilson Memorial Service is handling the arrangements.
Surviving are one daughter, Sara Ann Weatherford Pollock of Wilson; one son, Hugh Frederick Colvin, Sr. (Betsy) of Deep Run, NC; 4 grandchildren, Emily Blake Pollock Waters (Matt) and Kelly Elizabeth Pollock, all of Raleigh; Carla Annette Colvin of Wilson and Hugh Frederick Colvin, Jr. of Charlottesville, VA; and one sister-in-law, Rebecca 'Becky' McLelland Yates of Chadbourn.
Memorials ae suggested to the charity of one's choice.
