HARRY D. DOWNS ID VICTIM AUTO ACCIDENT

Harry D. Downs, 31 ,died of injuries received in an automobile accident Saturday afternoon in Johnson City, Tenn., and the remains were shipped to Glennville for burial. The deceased had been an a government hospital in the Tennessee city and was struck by a hit and run driver.

Funeral arrangements were handled by the Tattnall Funeral Home with L.A. Thompson in charge. The funeral was held yesterday at the Beard's Creek church with Rev. A.V. Barnard officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery. Pallbearers were A.W. Kicklighter, H.L. Stubbs, C.R. Kicklighter, L.H. Kicklighter, M.D. Bacon, and C. Banks.

The deceased is survived by his father, J.M. Downs; one brother, J.A. Downs and four sisters, Mrs. T.D. Kicklighter, Mrs. F.M. Milton and Mrs. C.C. Stubbs.
