William Andrew "Andy" Crouch was born in Warsaw, Gallatin County, Kentucky to Laura Ellen Riley and John Nelson Crouch on November 23, 1876. He was one of seven children, his siblings being: Pruda "Prudy" May Crouch (m Rev. William Pinkny Meador), Emma L Crouch (m Paul VomHoff), Lula "Lulie" Grace Crouch (m John Booth), Jess Marion Crouch (m Beulah Brown), Zada "Sadie" E Crouch (m Arthur Marion Gayman), and Bertha Pearl Crouch (m1 Mr. Coblentz, m2 Charles Ruben Johnson).
In 1880 his family lived in Posey, Indiana with his Uncle Jacob Crouch and his Aunt Sarah Jane Henry.
In 1900 his family is still in Posey and his great-aunt Melvina Herbert is staying with them. It also looks like a relative of his Mother, Francis Riley, and his family is living next door. According to his obituary the family moved to Chandler County, Oklahoma later this year.
By 1910 his family had moved to Little Robe, Oklahoma where Andy was working as farm labor.
From his obituary, the family stayed here until 1912 and then moved to Lincoln County.
In 1918 he filled out a World War I draft card and on it he lists that he is self employed as a farmer. He is described as being of medium height, medium build, with blue eyes, and brown hair and living in Wellston, Oklahoma as is his mother who is listed as his contact.
In 1920 the family is in McKinley, Oklahoma, farming. His sister Bertha is listed as widowed and living at home with her daughter Dollie, and his sister Lula is also living in the same house with her husband and children.
On September 6 1924 he marries Sarah A Tanner and by 1930 they have moved back to Little Robe where they share their home with their daughter, Andy's parents, Sarah's brother Floyd, and his niece Dollie.
In 1940 they are still in Little Robe sharing their home with their children and Andy's parents.

His known children with Sarah Tanner are Alwilda Ellen Crouch (m Gerald Hadsall) and Louis Andrew Crouch (m Alma Barton).
He passed away at his home in Arnett, Oklahoma on May 29, 1955, a Sunday, at 4:45PM.
Memorial services were held by Rev. Jim Weese of the Apostolic Faith Church, of which Andy was a member, and he was interred in Higgins Cemetery on May 31, 1955.
