Frank Barnhouse was the son of
John Barnhouse and Bell 'Blagg.'

His parents both died when he
was a young child. He was raised
by an Aunt.

He was married to Pearl 'Long'
on June 19, 1920 in Houston,
Texas. The couple met at
the flying field in Houston
where Pearl was working at
the time.

They had a baby boy in
1924 and named him Orvill
Franklin Barnhouse, Jr.
The baby was born January
5, 1924 and sadly died the
same day. He was premature.

In 1930, they expected their
second child. She was born on
Sept., 10. Pearl never recovered
from giving birth and due to
complications, died a few day's
later.
Knowing that Pearl wasn't going
to survive, Frank and Pearl decided
to have Pearl's sister, Maud
and her husband, James, to take
the baby girl and raise her.

Frank was an automotive Mechanic.
He served in the U.S. Army and
received a honorable discharge.
He married Amelia 'Clements'
in September, 1936 in Louisiana,
and later the couple moved to
Houston, Texas.
