Betty Frey Ludwig, 92 Cordele GA followed her husband in death, and went to be with the Lord May 29, 2011. Her husband Clyde had just passed away May 24.

She was a former resident of Muncy, Cogan Station, and Hughesville PA and Rockville MD. She was Born July 16, 1918 in Muncy PA daughter of Edward Shade Frey and Laura Painter Mensch Frey. Her family owned the Frey Hotel in Muncy. Betty was a classy lady who loved to entertain family and friends. She Volunteered at a Rockville Soup Kitchen, National Lutheran Home Gift Shop, her church. She member of Church Woman United in Maryland. She was a member to Trinity Lutheran Church Hughesville PA.

She leaves behind Daughter Chris Kieffer & Son-In Law Harry Cordele GA, Steve Ludwig, Oldsmar FL, Her loving grand-daughter and previous caregiver for 2 1/2 years Rachelle Eddy and husband Blaine, Hughesville PA. Her other grandchildren Tina Allen and husband Dave, Idaho, Matt Ludwig, Texas, Mark Ludwig, Florida, Great Grandchildren Ryan Allen, Idaho, Kayla Eddy, Avery Eddy Hughesville PA, Jake Ludwig, Florida. She had many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers Dave Frey, Bob Frey, and Great-Grandson Justin Allen.

Clyde and Betty had just celebrated their 65 wedding anniversary February 15, 2011. They were special couple who left a wonderful Legacy to their family on how to live your life as Christian parents. They never wanted to be separated in life or now in death.

There will be a Joint Celebration of Life Service at Rainey Family Funeral Services Cordele GA May 31, 2011. Rev Ray Sullivan and Rev Andy Boyd officiating.

At a later date there will also be an additional service in Muncy PA when their ashes will be buried together in the family plot.
