Larry Bearden (1946 - 2011)

Larry Bearden, 64, a loving husband, father, grandfather and son, passed away Monday, May 30, 2011, in Bedford. Funeral: 3 p.m. Friday in Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Chapel. Interment: Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Larry was born Aug. 4, 1946, in Fort Worth. He graduated from Northside High School in 1964 and received his associate's degree from Tarrant County College. Mr. Bearden was employed by Cash America for 17 years. He was an avid golfer and softball player as well as a coach and umpire. He was instrumental in the Keller and Richland Youth Association and created the program Special Kids which helped youths with disabilities. He was also a very gifted carpenter. Mr. Bearden served his country during the Vietnam War in the United States Army.

Survivors: Wife, Judy Bearden; children, Cory Bearden and wife, Tisha, Patrick Bearden and wife, Rhonda, Tim Cooke, Kristi Belloc and husband, David; grandchildren, Katie Bearden, Carley Bearden, Blake Hampton, Aiden Bearden, Blake Bearden, Maelie Cooke, Ryland Belloc, Taylor Landry, Nicole Landry, Chloe Gillum; brother, Mike Bearden and wife, Debbie; sister, Sandra Hallum; and mother, Gladys Bearden.
