Alphonse passed away while visiting his kith and kin for the Fourth of July. Stepfather to Frank Schoonmaker and grandfather to the family, we mourned that he never returned to us. He was laid to rest where he died; with his forefathers. A member of the Inaja Cosmit Band of Mission Indians.
Preceeded in death by brother George in 1964 and sister Mary in 1973. He was survived by the clan of his younger brother Gilbert.
