Porter Riley
Snyder - Funeral services for Porter "T-9" Riley, 61 of Dallas and formerly of Snyder, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in First United Methodist Church here with the Rev. David Robertson, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in Hillside Memorial Gardens under the direction of Bell-Seale Funeral Home
Riley died at 8:01 a.m. Sunday in Methodist Hospital in Dallas.
A Snyder native, he operated a service station here until moving to Dallas in 1964. He was married to Edna Browning on Feb. 14, 1972 in Waxahachie. Riley was a veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife: two daughters, Sondra Cantrell of Midland and Patsy Downing of Dallas; two sons, Jackie Dean of Germany and Renie of Abilene; a sister, Mrs. B. F. (Margaret) Gee of Sweetwater; and a brother, T. T. of Clovis, N.M.
