Audrey B. Kirby, 67, of Carroll's Tract Road, Orrtanna, died Wednesday, March 13, 2002, at the Gettysburg Hospital. Her husband, Rowland D. Kirby, died in 2000.
Born Feb. 16, 1935, in Danville, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Nile and Edith Justice.
She was employed by Kinney Shoe Co. in Fairfield and later by Knouse Foods Inc. in Orrtanna from which she retired in 1996.
Surviving are three daughters, Sandra G. Hager of Fayetteville, Ginger A. Springer of St. Albans, W.Va. and Crystal L. Beasley of Gettysburg; a son, Ronnie L. Tanner of Orrtanna; 14 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; five sisters, Iva Currey of St. Albans, W.Va., Oma Bailey of Oak Hill, W.Va., Ruth Ankrom of Charleston, W.Va., Jeannette Showers of Aspers, and Mary Knouse of Biglerville; and two brothers, Daniel Justice of Charleston, W.Va. and Jerry Justice of Gettysburg.
She was preceded in death by a son, Lewis Dillon; three brothers, Paul Justice, Frederick Justice and Gene Justice; and a sister, Julie Ann Justice.
The funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at Monahan Funeral Home, 125 Carlisle St., Gettysburg, with the Rev. Kenneth R. W. Reid officiating. Burial will be in McKnightstown Cemetery, McKnightstown.
