Mrs. Laura R. Burnham, 66, wife of Harold Burnham of 508 E. Tunnell died Sunday in a local hospital after a brief illness. Mrs. Burnham had resided in Santa Maria for the past 22 years.
Born June 17, 1897 in Wheaton, Ill., Mrs. Burnham was a member of St.Peter's Episcopal Church where services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday with the Rev. J. Stanley Parke officiating.
Cremation will follow the services at the Chapel of Roses in Atascadero.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Dudley Mortuary. Friends if they so desire may make contributions in memoriam to St. Peter's Episcopal Building Fund or to the Maryknoll Sisters in Guadalupe.
