Ross Albrecht, 59, died September 6, 1993 at his home in Bennion after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born March 18, 1934 in Fremont, Utah to Leonard and Verda Searle Albrecht. Married Darla Jean Olsen in Ely, Nevada November 30, 1963. Later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He was an active member of the LDS Church, and served a mission to Switzerland. He also served as Elder's Quorum president, and as 1st assistant in the High Priests Group. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Survived by wife, Darla Jean; four sons, Kim and wife, Dee Anne; Kevin and wife, Staci; Kenny and wife, Denise; Kelly; two daughters, Virginia and Pamela; 10 grandchildren; mother, Verda Albrecht; brothers, LaMar, Marvin, Arlen, Billy, and sister, Darlene. Preceded in death by son, Kyle; father, Leonard; and brother, Blain.
Funeral Services Thursday, Sept. 9, 12 noon, in the Bennion 4th LDS Ward Chapel, 6100 So. Kamas (2480 West). Friends may call at Goff Mortuary, 8090 So. State, Wednesday 6-8 p.m. and at the ward Thursday one hour prior to services.
Burial, Redwood Memorial Estates.
