Grace was the daughter of George W. and Effie Harding Ward. Her parents are buried in Concord Cemetery. She married William Dolphus Magee. They were the parents of George Mark Magee, James Roy "Jim" Magee, Marion Lloyd "Bud" Magee, Marie Helen Magee, William Randolph "Bill" Magee and Linda Sue Magee. After William's death, Grace married Austin Farris Seagler who preceded her in death.

Mrs. Grace Seagler
Funeral services for Mrs. Grace Magee Seagler, 55, of Montalba, will be held today at 2:30 p.m. in Hassell & Foster Chapel with the Rev. Olen Cantrell officiating. Burial will be in the Tennessee Colony Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Morris Hanks, C. E. Wilbanks, T. A. Wilhite, R. E. Rowland, Lee Fraim and R. L. Kimbrough.
Mrs. Seagler, the former Miss Grace Truman Ward, was born in Anderson County on October 14, 1911 to Mrs. Effie Harding Ward and the late G. W. Ward. She had spent most of her life in Anderson County, and was a member of the Montalba Baptist Church and the Montalba Order of the Eastern Star Chapter. For a number of years she was employed by George's Grocery here, and later worked in the cafeteria at John H. Reagan School. She died Friday at 2:35 p.m. in a local hospital following a long illness. She was the widow of Austin F. Seagler, who died April 22, 1961.
Survivors include four sons, George Magee of Wharton, James Roy Magee and M. L. (Bud) Magee, both of Palestine, and W. R. (Bill) Magee of Montalba; two daughters, Mrs. James W. (Marie) Burch of Chula Vista, California, and Mrs. William (Sue) Fraim of Houston; her mother, Mrs. Effie Ward of Montalba; three brothers, Theodore (Buster) Ward of Houston, Roy Ward of Palestine, and Lloyd Ward of Garland; four sisters, Mrs. Cilla Mae Vannoy, Mrs. Ollie Wells, Mrs. Lucille cook and Mrs. Ruth Marie Recane, all of Houston; 9 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements were by Hassell & Foster.
