Uriah grow up in Watertown,Ct.. He had one brother & two sisters. also twins that died as babys. He came to New York in the 1830's with his Uncle by the same name. That is where he met and married his wife Harriet. Uriah lived in Aurora,N.Y., also Auburn,N.Y.. He worked as a Tailor also at the Auburn Asylum. He and his wife Harriet had five children.
