Nancy Jean Hale, 77, of Cape Girardeau passed away May 29, 2011, at her home.
She was born Nov. 20, 1933, at Daisy. She was the daughter of Oma Cobble Unger and Robert E. Unger.
She and John Kenneth Hale were married Jan. 9, 1955. He proceeded her on Dec. 13, 2005.
Survivors include one daughter, Sally (Henry) Holyfield of Cape Girardeau; one son, Robert C. Hale of Cape Girardeau; three brothers, Jerry (Imogene) Unger of Frohna, Mo., Bill (Janice) Unger of Jackson and Jim Unger of Monrovia, Calif.; four sisters, Judy (Charles) Fadler of Jackson, Karen (Del) Meinz and Angie (Mel) Delk of St. Louis and Sue Beck of Jackson; and one granddaughter, Brooke Victoria Morris of Cape Girardeau.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and infant daughter, Jan Ellen.
In accordance to her wishes a private graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Cape County Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau with the Rev. Jerry Statler officiating.
Burial will follow at Cape County Memorial Park Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
In lieu of flowers the family would like all memorial contributions to go toward a charity of the donor's choice.
