Ina Maurine Steinbach age 86, of 3927 Pine Ridge Dr., died April 9, 2011, at 8:15 am in Regency Place, in Greenwood, Indiana.
Ina was born February 24, 1925 in Quincy, the daughter of Ora Clyde and Florence Ina Beckerdite Dace. She married Weldon George Steinbach on June 10, 1950 in Quincy. He preceded her in death on June 2, 2009.
Ina was a 1943 graduate of Quincy High School. She had worked at State Street Store as a salesperson and later at Consolidated Oil (Bruce 88) as office manager. She was a member of Bethel Assembly of God Church where she served as Sunday School Treasurer along with various other responsibilities. After her retirement, Ina and her former co-workers decided to meet monthly for a "Girls Day Out" luncheon and fellowship; Ina greatly enjoyed these luncheons.
Survivors include: a daughter, Linda (Steve) Loper of Greenwood, IN; a son, Steven (Lori) Steinbach of Springfield, MO; a granddaughter, Shae Loper of Greenwood, IN; two sisters-in-law, Virginia Dace of Rockford, IL, and Pat Dace of Midlothian, IL; a brother-in-law, Louis Kau of Phoenix, AZ; and numerous nieces and nephews
In addition to her husband Ina was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, Sherrill, Carol, Marian and Ora Eugene Dace, and six sisters, Ruth Wingerter, Wilma Kau, Thelma Aswege, Dorothy Gibb, Doris Simmons and Verda Kane.
Services: 2:30 pm, Friday, April 15, 2011 graveside at Quincy Memorial Park with Rev. Keith Garner officiating.
Visitation: 1:00 pm - 2:15 pm, Friday April 15, 2011 at Hansen-Spear Funeral Home
