Lake Ozark, Missouri (May 30th, 2011) (KSDK)-- Divers
have recovered the body of a St. Louis man
who drowned early Monday at the Lake of
the Ozarks.
Investigators with the Missouri State Water
Patrol say 39 year old Timothy Miller, an
off-duty St. Louis Firefighter, was in the
water yelling for help just before 1am this
morning.
Neighbors in the area heard the man
screaming and attempted to lend
assistance, but lost sight of Miller who went
under the water and never resurfaced.
Divers from the Mid County Dive Team
located Miller several hours later. The
Camden County coroner pronounced Miller
dead at 4:15 Monday morning.
