Our beloved daughter, sister, aunt and friend, Marla Kaye Wallace, age 42, passed away Thursday, January 14, 1999 from a pulmonary embolus at Lakeview Hospital in Bountiful, where she served others working in the nursing field for 25 years. Her friends and coworkers at Lakeview worked valiantly to save her and attended to her needs in her last moments.

Born February 28, 1956, in Kansas City, Missouri, a daughter of John D. and Martha Nash Wallace. She graduated form Viewmont High School in Bountiful and immediately embarked on her career in the nursing field. Her bubbly personality and acceptance of others without judgement endeared her to all that knew her.Survived by her parents; one brother, Brian (Jan) Wallace; one sister, Alana (Clint) Wilson; two nieces and two nephews, all of Bountiful; and her paternal grandmother of California. Preceded in death by her maternal grandparents and paternal grandfather.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, January 21, 1999 at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main, where friends may call Wednesday from 6:30-8:30 p.m. and Thursday from 9:45-10:45 a.m. prior to the service. Interment, Bountiful City Cemetery.
