A graveside service for Henry Hall Raney will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Elmwood Cemetery in Fruita. Dr Veryl Roth will officiate.
Mr. Raney, 558 Denver Ave., Debeque, died Wednesday of natural causes at his home. He was 59.
Mr. Raney, a retired farmer and rancher, had been a resident of Debeque for 20 years.
He was born Oct. 31, 1929, to James G. and Blanche E. Schiffern Raney in Collbran. He spent his childhood in Collbran and Fruita, where he graduated from Fruita Union High School.
He married Connie Shore. They were divorced.
Mr. Raney served in the U.S. Army from 1951-53. He was a member of American Legion Post 70 in DeBeque.
His hobbies included fishing and hunting.
Survivors include a daughter, Deborah Benally of Fruita; two brothers, Rex of Delta and Alfred of San Diego, Calif.; three sisters, Julia E Fry of Fruita, Ruth Raney of Grand Junction and Edith Ellis of Boulder; and three grandchildren. A brother, Vern, and a sister, Mae Raney are deceased.
Memorial contributions to benenfit the Colorado Division of Wildlife may be meade to the Henry Hall Raney Memorial Fund, in care of Fruita State Bank, Box 40, Fruita 81521.
