Obituary for John - "In this city on the 11th inst., John Angel after an illness of a few days."
In the 1860 U.S. Census, the widowed Mary was living in Washington, DC, with her children, Martha, Frances, Laura, James, and Jane.
In the 1870 and 1880 U.S. Censuses, Mary was living in Washington, DC, with the family of her daughter, Martha E. (Angel) Been.
I can't find Mary or her daughter, Margaret, in the 1900 U.S. Census. Mary died of old age, and she is buried in R90/82.

Mrs. Mary D. Angel Passes Away
The death of Mrs. Mary D. Angel, who was prominent in the church circles of Washington, occurred yesterday morning at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Martha E. Been, 806 F street southwest The deceased was one of the original members of Congress Street M.P. Church of Georgetown, and was the widow of the late John Angel.

1) John T. Angel (born c.1829) was born in Washington, DC.
2) Catharine A. Angel (born c.1837) was born in Washington, DC.
3) Frances M. Angel (born c.1841) was born in Washington, DC.
