Susie was born March 31, 1916, in Gladstone, N.M., the youngest of eight children to the union of Charles and Susie Bada.
She was a longtime member of Order of Eastern Star, Chapter No. 34, Amaranth and Mother Advisor for the Rainbow for Girls.
She was a Boy Scout Den Leader, Girl Scout Leader and participated in many community volunteer services such as the March of Dimes and St. Mary-Corwin hospital.
She enjoyed a lot of crafts including making projects out of yarn, papier-mâché, beads, artificial flowers and sequins. Susie enjoyed the outdoors and her gardening, growing roses and all kinds of flowers.
She was a good mother who taught her two children the basics of life and how to be honest and upright in all their dealings with people and animals.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bueford in 1960; her son, Baden in 1967; and all of her siblings. She is survived by her daughter, Yvonne Headrick, of Pueblo;
