Mrs. T. V. Hollis
Mrs. T. V. Hollis of South Third avenue, was stricken with apoplexy Monday night at the home of Mrs. H. J. Holler, Charles street, dying instantly. Mrs. Hollis was in attendance at a meeting of a sewing club and was reading the secretary's report, when she was stricken with the fatal attack. Coroner Huyck was notified.
Mrs[.] Hollis was 66 years old and came to this village from Pulaski in 1888. She was an active worker in the M.E. Church and a woman of high Christian character. She was a splendid neighbor and a devoted wife and mother. Her sudden passing caused deep sorrow among those who were at the meeting and as equally deep regret was felt as soon as word was passed about the village.
Besides her husband, Mrs. Hollis is survived by four sons, Clarence and Bertram of Detroit, Mich., Harold and Arthur of Ilion, and one daughter, Mrs. Glady Angell of Ilion.
