KATHRYN J. (Kitty) MOY was born December 18, 1929 to H.H. Hiatt and Leva Johnson Hiatt in Gewitt, Texas. She passed away in Houston, Texas on May 4, 2002 as a result of a stroke. She graduated from Freeport High School In Freeport, TX and attended business school in Houston, Texas. Kitty worked for a while at Dow Chemical in Freeport, Texas before starting her family. She loved singing, many arts and crafts, especially sewing. She was patient, caring, talented and a mentor to many. Kitty enjoyed traveling, going to casinos and many activities associated with the Dow Chemical retiree organization, Houston Area Dow Alumni. She is survived by and will be missed dearly by her loving husband of 52 years, H.E. (Eddie) Moy; sons Nelson Moy, Russell Moy and wife Linda, Ronald Moy and wife Lisa, Michael Moy and wife Theresa; sister Ellen Greenlee; grandchildren Aaron, Sarah, Adam, Dillon, Keith, Cody and Rachel; and numerous other relatives and friends. Visitation will be from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Monday, May 6, 2002 at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, May 7, 2002 in the Main Chapel of Forest Park Lawndale, interment to follow. Pallbearers: Gene Baker, Bill Binford, Bob Davis, Stan Nethery, Jim Newell and Jack Turner. Honorary pallbearers: Bill Fletcher, George Murray, Chuck Schwartz and Stuart Stein. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations may be made to any charity of their choice
