William R. Baker, 46, Sellman Road, near Barnesville, died early Wednesday morning in a house fire.

He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Ethel R. Baker, Beallsville; a daughter, Mrs. Jeanne King, Beallsville; a son, William R. Baker Jr., Beallsville; three sisters, Mrs. Irene Baughman, Taneytown, Mrs. Catherine Register, Corpus Christi, Tex., and Mrs. Betty Clagett, Beallsville.

The family will receive friends at Hilton Funeral Home, Barnesville Today and Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. where funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m.

Rev. Hayden L. Sparks, pastor of Poolesville Methodist Church will officiate.

Interment will be in Monocacy Cemetery, Beallsville.
