Martha Jane Crockett was the daughter of Samuel Crockett and Sidney C. Higdon. One of five children,her siblings were: Sarah Elizabeth 1850-1923; Mary H. 1852-1928;Robert 1859-1900 and Malisa 1862-?
She married Thomas Jefferson Majors Oct 27,1881 in Independence Co. Ark. They had six children. William Edward 1868-1955,Robert E"Bob" 1882-1944,Thomas Jefferson "Tom" 1885-1954,Sam 1886-1965,Charley Shell 1889-1891 and Lee 1892-1968
