Pittsboro: Joe May was taken sick, last Wednesday morning. He was taken to the M. E. hospital, Saturday, for an operation for appendicitis. He died Monday at 7 a.m. He leaves his wife, three daughters, Mrs. Forest Johnson, of Danville; Mrs. Guy Sands, of Indianapolis; Mrs. Wade Rogers, of Lizton, and ten grandchildren to mourn their loss. He was sixty years of age.
