UPDATE: The stone in Union Springs Cemetery, Polk Co, entry # 8973692, which bears strikingly similar name/initials and dates that this man has, has been confirmed as different. Therefore THIS entry is correct.

NOTE: Per comment from Linda Hill, the granddaughter of Boyce Gregg Hill (son of this man) she confirms THIS is the correct location for this stone and burial location of Arthur J. Hill, and that the other "A.J." Hill in Union Springs Cemetery is a different man.
=========================================
Per inscription on stone he was:
* s/o W.H.Hill (N.C.) & Mary Jane Gregg (S.C.)
* wed Mary Molly Jones 2-9-1882 (Trinity Co)
* his children: Boyce, Della, Arthur, Bryant, Harry, Eva, John (marker erected by Eva Hill Smith)
=========================================
NOTE: He was most likely born in either North Carolina or South Carolina. It varies depending on source or suggestion.
Suggestion was made that his middle name was "James", and that he died June 20, 1900, in Trinity Co, TX. .... however no sourced documentation was provided.
=========================================
His children:
* Son Boyce Gregg Hill is memorial# 6692080
* Daughter Della is memorial# 9116461

Where is his wife Mary "Molly" (Jones) Hill MEEK?
There is a "Mollie" who was recently married to a "James" Meek in 1900 Polk Co census and the household has these HILL children listed as step-children.
