Country Musician. Gum-chewing drummer for the Grand Ole Opry Staff Band for many years. He also did some announcing on the Opry as well, particularly on the Standard Candy portion of the Opry alongside Opry veteran announcer Hairl Hensley. Harold Weakley also recorded some singles on the Columbia Records label and was sometimes featured on the Grand Ole Opry as a singer.
