Lois Vivian Schamber, daughter of Arthur and Flora (Wilderman) Reeves, was born June 3, 1918, and passed away at her home in Norton, Kansas, on May 23, 2011, at the age of 92.
Lois grew up in Oberlin, Kansas, and graduated from the Oberlin High School in 1925. She also attended college in Pittsburg and Kansas State graduating in 1936. She was a home economics high school teacher for many years.
She married Max J. Simons in Kansas, Ralph Milor in California, and Clarence Schamber in Kansas. All three preceded her in death.
Survivors include: one son, Charles, and wife, Laurene Simons, Warsaw, Indiana; two daughters, Marilye Davis, and husband, Harold Frisby, Richland, Washington; and Ronda, and husband, Sam Evins, Benicia, California; one brother, Ross Reeves, Hays, Kansas; one sister, Alice Kuiper, Norton; four grandchildren, Teresa Simons, Amber McKinnis, Jordan and Kiel Evins; three great-grandchildren, Ashlee and Johnny Kanahele, Jr, and Emma Simons; other relatives and friends.
Lois was preceded in death by her parents, her three husbands, and one brother.
