Benjamin Franklin Daniels Jr, Box 315, RD 1, Pittston, Exeter Township, Pa, formerly of Wyoming, was pronounced dead on arrival Thurs. morning at Nesbitt Memorial Hospital.
Born in Peckville, he was formerly self-employed in the welding industry & most recently was a pipe fitter at the nuclear power plant, Salem Twp. A member of Mt Zion Methodist Church. He was a past officer of Wyoming Lodge 468, F & AM. Mr Daniels was past school director of Exeter Township School District, serving from 1956 to 1968, & was a former Republican committeeman in the township.
Surviving are his widow - the former Lucy Vosburg; daughters - Mrs Ellen Morton, Leesburg, Fla; Mrs Lucy (Donald) Vasko, Dayton, Ky; sons -Benjamin F Jr, West Pittston, Thomas & Donald, Harding; mother - Mrs Ellen Daniels, Harding; 11 grand-children; sisters - Mrs Ellen (Robert) Kolb, Allentown & Mrs Ruth (Charles) Runyan, Harding.
Funeral will be Sat at 2 PM from Metcalfe & Shaver Funeral Home, 504 Wyoming Ave, Wyoming, Pa with Rev Paul Bauer, pastor of Mt Zion UM Church, officiating. Interment in Mountain View Cemetery, Harding. Friends may call Friday 2 to 4 7 to 9. Masonic services will be conducted Fri. evening.
