Charles T. (Charlie) Williamson, 72 of Everett, died August 27, 1989, in a local hospital.
Mr. Williamson was born October 7, 1916, in Great Falls, Montana, and had resided in Everett for the past 21 years. He was a charter member of Cascade Council Knights of Columbus #9617; veteran of WWII; St. Mary Magdalen Catholic church; VFW Post #3098 of Mukliteo; and Washington Oldtime Fiddlers Assn. He was employed by the Boeing Airplane Company for 31 years until his retirement in 1981, and was a member of the Aerospace Machinist Union Local #751.
He leaves his beloved wife of 48 years, Rena at home; five sons and daughters-in-law, Jim and Carol Drake of Tacoma, Charles and Laveta Williamson of Tacoma, Robert and Pat Williamson of Gig Harbor, Tom and Gail Williamson of Renton, John and Becky Williamson of Everett; a son, Jim Williamson of Lake Stevens; a daughter and son-in-law, Rene and Lloyd Stroup of Seattle; a sister Anna Williamson of Arizona; his mother-in-law, Clara Racette of Everett; 13 grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
Recitation of the Rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, in the chapel of Purdy and Walters with Cassidy Funeral Home, Everett. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, at St. Mary Magdalen church. Burial will be in Cypress Lawn Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the St,. Mary Magdalen School Fund or a favorite charity.
Arrangement are under the direction of Purdy and Walters with Cassidy Funeral Home, Everett.
