Medina - Mrs. Jay W. Metcalf, 67, died early yesterday (June 2, 1950) at her home on Ridge Road at Johnson Creek. She was a member of the Hartland Baptist Church and Hart Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star. She leaves her husband, Jay W. Metcalf; two daughters, Mrs. Alfred Hadley and Mrs. Carl Confer, of Lockport; two sons, Russell, of Lockport, and Harold, of Paradise, Calif.; three sisters, Mrs. Ida Chambers, Mrs. Walter Wright and Mrs. Charles Bourlier, of Lockport; a brother, Jessie Welch, of Lockport, as well as eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. tomorrow at the family home. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Lockport.
