SHORT, Annie Arrington, 73, of Rocky Mount, passed away September 7, 1997. Born December 24, 1923, she was preceded in death by her father, Doc T. Arrington; her husband, Billie Short; a son, Jimmy Short; a brother, Thomas Junior Arrington. Surviving are two daughters, Carolyn Law, Linda Hogan; two sons, Jerry (Sarah) Short and Michael (Mary) Short; her mother, Gracie Perdue Arrington; sisters, Louvenia Hilbrecht, Edna Fitzgerald, Marie Dalton and Natalie Holcomb; brothers, Alonze Arrington, Herman Arrington, Frank Arrington and Freddie Arrington; seven grandchildren. Burial will be in the Arrington Family Cemetery,
