Services for George A. Renbarger, 64, of 1400 West 12th are scheduled for 4 p.m. Thursday at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Chapel. Burial is slated for Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Renbarger died at his home Tuesday after a long illness. Justice of the Peace Virgil Lumpee withheld an inquest ruling pending results of an autopsy.
Renbarger was a retired driller, born June 22, 1922. He came to Odessa in 1956 from Kermit and was a member of the Believer's Tabernacle. He was a World War II veteran and a member of the VFW and the American Association of Retired Persons.
Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Jim Darnell of 6507 Fort Worth, Mrs. Ray Waldop of Graham, Billie Faye Garr of Odessa, Terena Renbarger of 4604 Locust, and Mrs. Louie Vaughn of LaPorte; one son, Eddie Renbarger of Lafayette, La; two brothers, Herman T. Prentice of Odessa and Alfred Prentice of Keller; one sister, Mrs. Thelma Howard of Receda, Calif.; 16 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
