A native of Spartanburg County, S.C., she was retired from Dover Mill Co. after 50 years service as a cloth inspector, and was a member of Dover Baptist Church, and had volunteered at Cleveland Regional Medical Center in the I.C.U. department.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Luther Conner & Linnie Allie Ballanger Conner; husband, Earl McCoy; infant son, William Newton McCoy; brother, Dick Conner and sisters, Minnie C. Lynn & Winnie Bell Conner.
She is survived by niece & caregiver, Gayla and her husband, Tom; two nieces, Susie Long Capehart, Beth Conner Baity; nephews, Rick Conner and Jimmy Lynn
