Well Known Women Is Dead
Mrs Margaret Lauterbur Tebbe,72,widow of Joseph Tebbie,died Sunday afternoon at
five forty-five o'clock at the home of her son,Frank Tebbie,at 602 Michigan
Street,death following a serious illness of only a few days.She had been in
failing Health for an extended tine from complication.
During most of her life Mrs.Tebbe had been a resident here,moving to Shelby
county with her parents Nicholas and Anna Lauterbur,during her early
girlhood.She was born at New Regal,O on March 28.1864.and was one of a family of
sixteen children,only four survive,Nicholas Lauterbus.Columbud,Peter
Lautterbus,ofSt.Patricks;Mrs.Emil Seigel,and Mrs.Ratherman of Ft.Loramie.
Her marriage with Joseph Tebbe Took place on October 16,1889,and they first
established their home in Minster where,Mr.Tebbe followed vocation of
carpentering.In 1912 the family moved to Sidney where they Continued to
reside.Since thedeath of Joseph Tebbe,seven years ago,Mrs Tebbe made her home
with their only son Frank Tebbe in ths city.
Surviving with her son are six grandchildren,Arthur,Irene,Martha
Louise,Ruth,Robert and Frank Tebbe.
She was a life long member of the Holy Angels Church and was a devout christian
woman.She was enrolled in Sacred Heart Alter sodality of that church.
Funeral services will be held at the Holy Angels Church Wednesday morning at
nine o'clock and interment made in Graceland cemetery.
