Artimesia Jensen Beales

Artimesia Jensen Beales, age 85, died March 20, 1985 at her home in Salt Lake City.

Born December 27, 1899 to Peter Joseph and Artimesia Snow Jensen. Married Reginald Beales, September 13, 1923 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She taught 1st Grade in the Granite School District for more than 20 years. She was active in the LDS Church in all Church Auxiliaries on both the Ward and Stake levels. She served as a full time Missionary, conjointly with her husband in Scotland from 1966 to 1968.

Survived by: her husband, Salt Lake City; five daughters, Beverly (Mrs. Karl E. Ward), Hyde Park; Dorothy (Mrs. J. Eugene Sealch); Marian (Mrs. John D. Smith); Evlyn (Mrs. William L. Allen); Jeannette (Mrs. D. Edward Holt); a son, Dr. G. Landon Beales, all of Salt Lake City; twenty-four grandchildren; thirty-eight great-grandchildren; brother, Grant S. Jensen, Salt Lake City; four sisters, Helen Holmes, Salt Lake City; Elida Austin, Provo; Florence Christensen; Marjorie Holt, both Salt Lake City.

Funeral services will be held Monday March 25, 1985, 12 noon, Grant 8th Ward, 3400 So. 1100 E. Friends may call at the Deseret Mortuary, 36 E. 700 So. Sunday evening 6-8 p.m. and at the Ward one hour prior to the service. Interment Elysian Burial Gardens.
