She was born on September 4th, 1905 on the family farm in Spencer Township, Ward County, near Kenaston. She was the daughter to John and Anna (Christianson) Anderson. She attended rural schools in that area and was married to Everett Hanson in 1942 at the home of Rev. Carl Sauer, near Kenmare. They continued to live and farm near Kenaston until his death in June 1949. She moved into Kenmare at that time and worked in housekeeping and restaurants for many years. She worked at the Kenmare Hospital for 17 years in the food preparation area. She was a member of the First English Free Lutheran Church at Lostwood. She is survived by her brother, Martin of Kenmare; many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews; and a host of friends.
