Milton C. Meyer, 76, of 1016 West Grant Avenue, Box 173, Cleveland, Wis., died Thursday afternoon, August 22, 1991, at this home after a brief illness.
He was born August 10, 1915, in the town of Meeme, son of the late Theodore and Anita Prueter Meyer. He was a 1933 graduate of Kiel High School. On January 11, 1939 he married Ella Hickmann in Iowa. The couple celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in 1989. He farmed in the town of Meeme until 1970 when they moved to Cleveland. He was employed at Kohler Company until 1978, when he retired. He was a member of St. James United church of Christ, Spring Valley.
Survivors include his wife, Ella; two sons, Curtis W.(Marion) of Newton and Wallace (Beatrice) of School Hill; two daughters, Janice (Frederick) Wehausen of Manitowoc and Yvonne (Jim) Hochkammer of Manitowoc; 16 grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; one brother, Willard (Helen Marie) Meyer of Newton; one sister, Ruth (Hamilton) Strowhig of Kiel. He was preceded in death by two sons, Larry and Dennis; one brother, Harold and one great granddaughter, Amanda.
