David Lee Allan
March 30, 1926 - May 18, 2011
David Lee Allan, born March 30, 1926, in Klammath Falls, Ore., passed away May 18, 2011, in Placerville, Calif. He served his country in the U.S. Navy in World War II. After the war he met and married Ann. He graduated from the University of Calif. at Berkeley as a Landscape Architect. He and Ann lived out their last days together in Placerville, Calif.
David was an artist, a member of EDAC, and a volunteer at the local library and ARC. He will be sincerely missed by all who knew him. David is survived by his brother, Larry; daughter, Carleen Schnieder; son-in-law, Gary Schneider; grandchildren, Felicia Massey, Tessa and Shawn Miller; and great-grandchild, Anthen Miller.
He was preceded in death by wife Ann of 60 yrs. and daughter Lynne Massey. A mass will be said on Thursday, June 2, at 2 p.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church. Father Walter Tabios will be officiating.
