Funeral services for U.G. Whitson, 43, who died Monday December 10, 1944 at Hanford, Washington, will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon, December 17, 1944 from the Baptist church at Moorewood, Ok., with interment there.
The body accompanied by the widow, will arrive in Elk City, Friday afternoon, and be taken in charge by the Savage Funeral Home.
He is survived by his wife of the home and his mother Mrs. A.A. Whitson and brother Merrill of Moorewood. Brothers T.B. of Anadarko, Ok., and Gracy and Charles of Stockton, Ca. and a half brother, W.H. Hill, Oklahoma City, Ok. Sisters, include Mrs Dock Mullen, Lodi, Ca., Mrs Florence Morrow and Mrs. Jess Thompson, Burbank, Ca., Mrs R.D. McGonigal, Tulsa, Ok., Mrs. Otho Fletcher, Caney, Ks. and Mrs. H.A. Petty, Raleigh, Tn.
Masonic rites will be conducted at the grave.
