James Court was the adoptive son of Maria and Edward Court and the younger brother to Doris (Hatfield) Court and Marion (Leham.) Court. He was like the big brother to Robert and Leonard Hatfield, (Doris,s two sons) they were all two years apart and grew up together. Born in St. John N.B. and moved to Windsor Ont in the late 1940's. He was a great carpenter, working on different projects in the Windsor area. James was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion #143 in Windsor and the St. John,s Ambulance Brigade. He was a fine carpenter and model ship builder. One of his many ships is on view at the #143 Legion in Windsor. He was a special uncle sadly missed. James was 58 years old when he died of a heart attack while trying to give CPR to a woman. This lady lived to attend his funeral.
