Edward Charles Court was the son of John Ellis Court and Elizabeth Ann Roberts. He had three brothers John Ellis who settled in Pawtucket R.I., Frederick who was killed in WW1, and William Court who also settled in Windsor Ontario. He came to Canada in 1923 on the ship Athenia, with his wife Maria Crowder and daughters Marion and Doris. He spent his last years on Forest Ave. in Windsor.
