Nadyne Pursley
Age 89, a resident of Duncanville, passed away May 24, 2011.
She was born November 30, 1921 in Ellis County, Texas.
Nadyne started Pursley Discount Fashions in 1955, one of Duncanville's oldest businesses.
She was one of the original members of the Duncanville Chamber of Commerce in 1955. Nadyne was a member of the Order of Eastern Star for over 50 years, Duncanville Chapter #1014; and a member of the Daughters of the Nile, Shalman Temple #90.
She was preceded in death by her husband Orval Pursley and a brother, William Wallace "Dub" McWhorter.
She is survived by her son, Ray Pursley and wife Deborah; grandson, Matthew Pursley; brothers, William Henry McWhorter; sister, Baunita Jones; many extended family members and loving friends.
Funeral Service is 1:00 pm Saturday, May 28, 2011 at Trinity United Methodist Church, 1302 S. Clark Road in Duncanville.
Visitation is 6-8 pm Friday evening at the church.
Burial will follow at Little Bethel Memorial Park in Duncanville.
