Deceased Name: BASS, HENRY G.
Henry G. Bass, retired superintendent for T.L. James Co., died Sunday at West Jefferson Medical Center. He was 90. Mr. Bass was born in Prentiss, Miss., and lived in Terrytown. He was a member of Terrytown Golden Age Club, Terrytown AARP Chapter No. 3964 and King's Elders. Survivors include his wife, Shirley S. Bass; a son, Louis M. Bass; two daughters, Alease B. Fagan and Frances B. Maher; a stepdaughter, Scheryl Benkovics; a brother, Charlie Bass; three sisters, Linnie Vaughn, Artie Jayne Dean and Yvonne Scovotal; 16 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 West Bank Expressway, Harvey. Visitation will be today from 6 to 10 p.m. and Thursday at 8 a.m.
Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
