PAYNE, MARCUS COLE - age 16, of Clinton, passed away Sunday, January 11, 2004 at UT Medical Center Trauma Unit. A sophomore at Clinton High School. Marcus loved playing paintball. He was a loyal Tennessee Titans and Atlanta Braves fan. He leaves a multitude of friends. Survivors: parents, Mark and Martha Payne of Clinton; grandparents; Ernest and Laura Payne of Clinton, Pat and William McBryde of Clinton; great grandmother, Alma Graham of Jellico; uncles, Steve Payne of Clinton, Henry Hedden of Clinton, Don Hedden and wife Susan of Clinton; cousins, Heather Hedden of Knoxville, Brandon and Casey Payne of Knoxville, Cody Payne of Clinton and Richard Hedden of Georgia, special friends,Jesse Walker, Trey McLane, Travis Davis all of Clinton; many great aunts and great uncles. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Memorial United Methodist Church with Rev. Don Thomas and Rev. Michael Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at Grandview Memorial.
