Charles Adams of New Market died Saturday evening and was buried Monday of this week. He resided a short distance east of there and has lived in Taylor county a good many years, being among the old settlers. BEDFORD TIMES REPUBLICAN, Bedford, Iowa, May 12, 1927

New Market--Charles Adams passed away last Saturday evening at his home, being 82 years of age. Mr Adams was one of the oldest residents of Taylor county and has many friends. He leaves a wife and five children to mourn their loss. Funeral services were held at the Christian church Monday afternoon conducted by Rev E.B. Osborn and interment was made in the Memory cemetery.
