She was born September 28, 1935 in Burkeville, Texas to Raymond W. and Suphronia E. Woods.
She lived in the Peachtree Community most of her life, attending school at Beech Grove and Jasper High School.
She was a career wife and mother and longtime employee of Jasper County and the Jasper-Newton Health Clinic.
She loved reading, Southern Gospel Music, puzzles, crochet, cooking and gardening.
She is survived by Raymond and Bytha Barnard of Hicks, Louisiana, Elizabeth Foshee of Jasper and Melissa and Lee Lawson of Rosebud, Arkansas.
