MARY POTTS
Mrs. Mary Hardin Potts, age 90, of Fouke, Arkansas, passed from this life peacefully at Bailey Creek Nursing Center surrounded by her loved ones into her Heavenly home February 4, 2013. She was loved by so many and will be greatly missed.
Mrs. Potts was born November 30, 1922, in Cookville, Texas, and had lived most of her life in Fouke. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Fouke and was a Homemaker. She was preceded in death by her father, John Stallion Hardin, mother, Darcus Matilda Bateman Hardin, brothers, Sam, Wes, Rubin, and D.J. Hardin, sister, Ollie Gladden, husband, E. H. "Bo" Potts, sons, F. A. Potts, Monroe Potts, and Marty Potts, granddaughter, Tammy Pettit, grandson, Brian Potts.
Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law, Jean Ralson of Texarkana, AR, and Christine and Danny Worrell of Fouke, AR, six sons and five daughters-in-law, Millard Potts, Elmore and Sherry Potts, Wayne and Donna Potts, and Stanley and Joan Potts all of Texarkana, AR, Melvin and Sue Potts of Genoa, AR, Cleo and Karen Potts of Fouke, AR, twenty-two grandchildren, thirty-four great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M. Thursday at the First Baptist Church, Fouke, with Rev. Wallace Edgar , Rev. Mark Akin and Chris Hooten officiating. Burial will be at Rocky Mound Cemetery under the direction of Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 PM until 7 PM Wednesday.
