Born Jan. 4, 1931, in Wellington, to Glen and Treva (née Jackson) Rollin.
Marian grew up in Huntington and was a lifetime resident of Lorain County. She graduated with the Sullivan High School class of 1949 and was the class salutatorian.
Marian worked at C.E. Ward Co. in New London for many years as a secretary. She attended United Church of Huntington and enjoyed sewing, quilting and crocheting. Her other interests included homemaking, camping and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her husband, Oliver Bigelow; children, Nancy (Wayne) Reisinger of Elyria, Janice (Sam) Clark of Wellington and Daniel Bigelow of Wylie, Texas; grandchildren, Christina Reisinger of Michigan, Steven (Katie) Reisinger of Elyria, Daniel (Allison) Bigelow of Ashland, Jennifer Clark and Mindy Clark, both of Elyria; great-grandchildren, Tyler Reisinger, Caleb Henry, Kyle Reisinger, all of Elyria, and Mason Bigelow of Ashland. Marian is also survived by her siblings, Burt (Mildred) Rollin, Edith (Walter) Brownson and Virginia Kish; and sisters-in-law, Frances and Sarah Rollin.
In addition to her parents, Marian was preceded in death by her brothers, John "Jack" and Jim Rollin; and brother-in-law, Ralph Kish.
Visitation will be 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 26, 2011, at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 S. Main St., Wellington.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, May 27, 2011, at United Church of Huntington, 26677 Ohio 58, with the Rev. Stephen Carmany, Howard Quast and Donald Bigelow officiating.
Burial will follow in Huntington Cemetery.
