ULSTER COUPLE FOUND DEAD

A Stone Ridge couple was found dead Monday in their home, the victims of an apparent suicide/homicide, said state police in Ellenville.
A neighbor found the bodies of the 29 year old woman and her estranged 43 year old husband at 4:30 p.m. in a bedroom at the home they shared, police said. Names of the victims are being withheld pending notification of relatives.
Police said the woman was apparently shot by her husband, who then took his own life with a shotgun.

STONE RIDGE - Nancie J. Healy Madaio, 29, a resident of Stone Ridge, formerly of Millbrook, died Monday in Stone Ridge.
Mrs. Madaio was an interpreter for the hearing impaired for the Ulster County BOCES program at Woodstock Elementary School for one year, and had worked in the BOCES program for three years.
Born Aug. 19, 1964, in Albany, she was the daughter of Thomas and Lavina Christman Wilson of Palatine, Montgomery County.
She was a 1982 graduate of F. D. Roosevelt High School in Hyde Park.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by a daughter, Kathrin Ann Healy of Stone Ridge; five sisters, Patricia Wilson Richter of Poughkeepsie, Susan Wilson Thayer of Wprakers, Montgomery County, Cynthia Wilson Doherty of Clifton Park, Saratoga County, Bette Anne Wilson and Anna Elizabeth Wilson, both of Palatine, Montgomery County; a brother, Ronald Wilson of Schultzville, Columbia County; a grandmother, Anna E. Wilson of Utica; and several nices, nephews, aunts and uncles.
Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Allen Funeral Home, Franklin Avenue, Millbrook. Services will take place at 9 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Fonda, Montgomery County.
